How to Volunteer

All you need to give back to the environment is a day off and the willingness to come out and do some trail maintenance.  All tools are provided and you only need water, lunch, and clothes that can get dirty.  Check the home page and calendar for upcoming maintenance events.  You do not need to be a member of the club or an Appalachian State University student in order to come out with us and do maintenance.  We look forward to a great semester and hope you can join us.

Also, the rangers at Elk Knob coordinate volunteers each Saturday if you want to work with them outside of the Trail Crew.
